For conservatory companies, builders and competent DIYers.
Illustration only. Windows, doors, walls and base are not part of the roof kit.
A shallow lean-to can help where the wall height limits a conventional conservatory roof. We supply roof kits for your installer to assemble, with the glazing, finish, drainage and side support agreed before manufacture. Start with your approximate sizes; we will confirm the specification and exactly what your quotation includes.

Choose a glass roof enquiry for a clearer view of the sky. Ask about solar control and self-cleaning options. The system guide describes 24mm units; the exact glass build-up, pane sizes and pitch need checking together.
Tapered side supports bridge level side frames and the roof slope. Standard 2.5° and 5° firring options are listed, with raked side frames as an alternative. Include the door positions so we can assess support.
Change the size, glazing, roof bars, finish and firrings. Your choices are added to the enquiry below, ready for a tailored quote.
Pitch guidance: the Classic low pitch design guide covers 2.5°–10°. Other Ultraframe low pitch configurations specify glass from 5°. The designer flags glass below 5° for technical review rather than treating it as an approved combination.
Firrings let a sloping roof sit above level side frames. They are structural parts of the design, so their angle, length and support must suit the roof. Raked frames instead follow the roof slope. Neither option removes the need to check the existing frames and load paths.
Select 2.5° or 5° firrings to match the roof. For another pitch, ask us to assess raked frames or an alternative support detail.
Send the underside-of-soffit height, frame height and projection. The slope rise shown in the designer excludes roof profiles, wallplate, flashing and installation clearances.
A house-side box gutter may help with a restricted soffit detail. It requires project-specific support and outlet design. Tell us about doors beneath it and any existing drainage.
Send width, projection, postcode, preferred glazing and roof pitch. Include any height restrictions, door openings and unusual wall details.
We review your enquiry and confirm dimensions, glazing bars, firrings, drainage and the supply list. Pricing and delivery are confirmed in your quotation.
Approve the final specification before manufacture. Arrange a suitably competent installer and follow the installation instructions for the supplied system.
Your design is a starting point for a quotation, not an order. Please check the summary and tell us anything else we should know.

Find the manufacturer’s documents for your roof. Match the guide to your kit and read it alongside your order-specific drawings and supplied instructions.
Do not assume every low pitch roof or glass option is suitable at 2.5°. Ultraframe documents cover different configurations. We flag glass below 5° for technical review and confirm the exact system and glazing before quoting.
If your side frames are level, structural firrings may provide the tapered support beneath the sloping roof. Raked frames can be an alternative. Send photographs and dimensions so the correct detail can be agreed.
